Job Description

Position: IT Business 

Trisian-Global Consulting LLC is seeking a local IT Business Analyst to work on-site in Memphis TN. The ideal candidate will have a background in IT, Finance and business analysis, with a solid understanding of technology and its applications with respect to large scale financial / accounting systems. The IT Business Analyst will work closely with internal clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements. 

This is a contract to hire role with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and document business requirements
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for developers and other team members
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues
  • Perform user acceptance testing and provide recommendations for improvements 
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for process improvements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting or related field 
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst working with Finance Systems 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Proven experience in project management and delivering projects on time and within budget 
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies 
  • Experience with requirements gathering and documentation 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
