We are currently accepting applications for a Lifeguard Instructor to lead American Red Cross certification courses. In this key instructional role, you'll provide a safe, engaging, and supportive learning experience while ensuring participants are fully prepared and confident in their lifeguarding skills.
In this role, you will:
Facilitate American Red Cross certification courses per national standards
Supervise participants closely during skill practice and evaluations
Offer attentive, clear, and proactive feedback
Ensure consistency and quality in all course instruction
Complete administrative tasks such as developing lesson plans based on pool space, evaluating participants, and maintaining records in the Red Cross Learning Center
Required Certifications:
All applicants must hold the following current certifications:
American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor r.24
American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor r.21
American Red Cross Inclusion Resource Training Certificate
American Red Cross Lifeguarding (Including Deep Water) with CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid (2024)
