Bastion Brewery is an independent and family owned restaurant and brewery, specializing in craft BBQ and American pub fare.
Looking for part-time and full-time employees. Starting pay is $17 + tips, with increases given based on performance and tenure. Full time position available, weekend and night availability necessary. Must be a self-starter, follow direction well, work well with others, have a passion for cooking or a willingness to learn.
We want people who care about the food they send out, the prep required, the cleanliness of the kitchen and workstation.

Starting pay is $17-$19/hr DOE + tips, with increases given based on performance and tenure.
JOB SUMMARY
The Line Cook is responsible for cooking burgers, bbq, wings, salads, and other hot foods. Prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. They must also perform other duties in the areas of food and work well with others. Duties also include cleaning, set-up, and break down of kitchen. It's a line cook position, if you know, you know.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Be 18 years of age or older
Have reliable transportation to and from work
Cellphone or phone
Must have or promptly obtain a Washington State Food Handlers Permit
Experience in kitchen preparation and line cooking
Able to communicate clearly and effectively with managers, kitchen, and front of house coworkers
Able to effectively and efficiently work in a high volume, fast paced work environment
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
