The Service Valet is responsible for maintaining a smooth flow of vehicles through the Service Drive. Essential Functions

• Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
• Controls service traffic flow and parking.
• Determines if customers coming into service have an appointment. Records customer’s name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage.
• Assists service advisors when needed.
• Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, etc.
• Place vehicle Interior Protection in each vehicle.
• Tag keys and place mirror tags in all vehicles.
• Move vehicles to an appointed parking area and ensure all windows are up and all vehicles are locked.
• Serves as a backup Lot Attendant
• Completed other tasks and duties as assigned by the Service Manager.

Requirements

• Previous work experience as a Porter/Valet preferred.
• Valid and clean driving record
• Ability to operate manual transmissions.
• Regular Attendance
• Must wear proper Garavel uniform and maintain a clean, professional appearance
• Positive attitude

Physical Demands: The ideal candidate must meet the physical demands described here to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. Service Valets frequently:

• All weather toughness – exposure to inclement weather
• Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, stooping, and bending.
• Frequently getting in and out of cars.
• Frequently walking around the dealership and parking lots
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
